The team
I am a researcher specialized in green chemistry, with a focus on biomass valorization, currently centered on lignocellulosic biomass fractionation and lignin functionalization to obtain high value-added materials. I have extensive experience in the revalorization of agro-industrial biomass, particularly in the valorization of fruit biomass, having worked extensively with fruit fibers from apple, citrus, peach, and other horticultural residues. I am also skilled in polymer synthesis (e.g., click chemistry) and advanced material characterization techniques. As a member of a TECNIO-accredited center, I actively bridge fundamental research with technology transfer, contributing to regional industrial innovation through collaborations with companies in the agro-industrial and forestry sectors. My experience includes participation in international projects and several research stays, which have strengthened my global network and fostered long-term collaborations.
