Extraction and production of added value products from different types of Mediterranean agroforest biomass to be used in food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries
From the Biomass will be obtain compounds to afford some platform molecules. Considering the cascade and circular approaches, from these platform molecules and the pyrolytic lignin obtained, we propose to obtain high-added value products with diversified applications: a)bioplastic and bioplastic precursors ; b) biofuels ; c) agricultural applications; d) and Pressure and pH sensors . Life-cycle assessments studies will be performed to determine the critical points to design improved procedures. Finally, we will analyze potential customer value and market for our project.
